The president has urged the land-buying companies in Kenya to cooperate with the Ministry of Lands to achieve full revenue collection in Nairobi on land rates. Ruto who was speaking at Ruai Muhuri Muchiri stadium at a title issuance process Said 80 percent of Nairobi is not titled and only 11 percent has title deeds making it difficult for development in the country. Ruto promised to end land fraud cases that have been in Embakasi Ranching for years On the other side, in the area, the president has been urged to finish the leadership wrangles that have been there between Lucy Nyokabi Mathenge who is in office, and James Mingi Njoroge who is registered in the government CR 12 forms that claim to be in the office legal. As the president was holding a meeting Njoroge condemned the police who house arrested in one of the hotels in Ruai plus other officials for 8 hours who released them when the president left. Njoroge said he had brought the president a letter that had the grievances of shareholders who have never got justice for more than 40 years but were blocked in a hotel and manned by DCI officers for 8 hours until the president left. They urged the president to give them audiences for them to get the justice that they have sort for years. They said the original shareholders don’t have Land in Embakasi Ranching but only sold to non-members benefiting a few directors. Gabriel Gitonga one of the directors said whatever the president did is illegal and was mis advised for there are orders to stop the issuance of title deeds while 80 percent of the ones issued went to non-members. 2100 titles were issued for land that’s in Nairobi and its environs.
